ProDiMo allows you to generate mid-IR molecular emission line spectra from disks as previously observed by Spitzer/IRS, see Woitke+(2018). We will soon get much improved JWST/MIRI data with higher spectral resolution and better signal/noise. The figure compares a sample of Spitzer/IRS observations of T Tauri stars to a generic disk model which shows lines of o-H2O, p-H2O, OH, HCN, CO2, C2H2, H2 and a couple of atomic lines such as Ne+ @12.7um and Ne++ @15.5um. All emission features which are (i) detected by Spitzer/IRS and (ii) have identified counterparts in the model are marked by vertical thin line. The thin grey lines all mark water lines.
