ProDiMo is now able to take into account surface chemical processes. A first application to the formation of H2 and HD on warm grain surfaces has been published by Thi+(2020, A&A 634, 42). We can also reproduce the surface chemistry benchmark by Semenov+(2010, A&A 522, A42). Another related work is about the formation of chemisorbed water and its diffusion into the silicate lattice, creating phyllosilicates, see Thi+(2020, A&A 635, 16).
